Molite in Vote 2009
| European Parliament elections 7 June, 2009 Financial turmoil, rising anti-Semitism and an increasing neglect of Judeo-Christian values. It is not difficult to paint a dark picture of Europe. Nevertheless, Christians can make a difference when we combine prayer with action. First, we must stand strong in our call to “pray for those in authority."* This includes European authority. Second, we must hold fast to this biblical mandate and promise: “Seek welfare of the city where God has sent you. When it prospers, you will prosper.” ** |
Your vote in the EP elections will influence the future and the daily life of nearly 500 million fellow Europeans. If you don't vote, someone else will – and decide who represents you at the only directly elected Pan-European assembly. Your vote – or someone else's – will determine which elected MEPs will shape the future of Europe for the next five years.
